Ayur Digestive Drink – Relieve Bloating Naturally
Original Ayurvedic Recipe: Dr. Varun Ram Raj
Ingredients:
Note:
Those who prefer a mild, sweet taste can add 1 teaspoon of jaggery or date syrup for every 150 ml of drink. This recipe can be taken warm after meals to aid digestion. Those with excessive heat (Pitta imbalance) may reduce the ginger quantity slightly.
Preparation Method:
Make all the ingredients into a 15 cm square gauze bag (like a tea bag) or tie them in a muslin cloth. Add this spice bag to water and place it on a low flame. Once the water starts boiling, continue boiling for 7–8 minutes. Remove the spice bag and pour the drink into a cup. If needed, add the rock salt or sweetener now.
Sip this warm Ayurvedic digestive drink slowly after meals to reduce bloating, ease gas, and improve Agni (digestive fire).
Tip from Dr. Varun Ram Raj:
“This drink works best when combined with mindful eating and a dosha-appropriate diet. Avoid overeating and late-night heavy meals for lasting digestive comfort.”
