Kumari: Aloe vera, the multi-beneficial Ayurvedic medicine : written by the best Ayurveda doctor Varun Ram Raj

Kumari: Aloe vera, the multi-beneficial Ayurvedic medicine

Kumari or Aloe vera is scientifically called Aloe barbadensis mill. According to one of India's top Ayurvedic doctors, Dr Varun Ram Raj, Kumari primarily balances the Vata and Pitta doshas. It is one of the most widely used Ayurvedic herbs with multiple therapeutic properties like anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, hepatoprotective, wound-healing, laxative, rejuvenative, and immune-strengthening effects.

Kumari can be effectively used in the management of conditions like liver disorders, digestive weakness, skin diseases, constipation, anaemia, menstrual irregularities, and ulcers. It is also beneficial in enhancing fertility, supporting hair growth, and improving the natural glow of the skin.

The pulp of Kumari is known for its cooling and nourishing effect. It helps in detoxification, balances excess Pitta, and strengthens overall vitality.

According to Dr. Varun Ram Raj, the dosage of Kumari is 10-20 ml in juice form (Swarasa), 5-10 g in pulp form, 20-30 ml in decoction form, and 1-2 tablets (250 mg each) in tablet form.

For best results, it should be taken under the guidance of a qualified Ayurveda doctor.

You can get your dosage and method of intake of Kumari by writing a direct message to Dr. Varun Ram Raj

Always consult a doctor before taking Kumari.

Stay healthy always!
