Ayurvedic Homemade Lip Balm

Ingredients:

1. Beeswax – 10 grams
2. Virgin Coconut Oil – 15 ml
3. Almond Oil – 10 ml
4. Shea Butter – 5 grams
5. Rose Petal Powder – 1 teaspoon
6. Natural Beetroot Powder – 1/2 teaspoon (for mild tint)
7. Vitamin E Oil – 2 drops

Note:
Those who prefer a sweeter aroma can add 1–2 drops of pure vanilla extract just before pouring the mixture into the container. In this recipe, I have used cold-pressed oils for maximum benefit. Oils can be chosen according to your dosha requirement—those with excess Pitta can use more coconut oil for cooling, while Vata skin benefits from more almond oil. Always ensure the ingredients are pure and free from chemicals.

Preparation:

1. Take beeswax, coconut oil, almond oil, and shea butter in a double boiler and heat gently until completely melted.
2. Add rose petal powder and beetroot powder; stir well until evenly blended.
3. Turn off the heat, add vitamin E oil (and vanilla extract if preferred), and mix thoroughly.
4. Immediately pour the warm mixture into small lip balm containers or tubes.
5. Let it cool and solidify naturally.

Your soft, nourishing, and dosha-friendly Ayurvedic lip balm is now ready!

Try it!

Stay Healthy always!
